Dr. Yadira Perez is an expert in operational research and public health program management, recognized for her exceptional ability to connect with diverse communities and stakeholders globally. With over fifteen years of experience, she has a proven track record in developing and implementing evidence-informed, equitable, and culturally specific strategies that enhance impact and sustainability. Dr. Perez's work spans academic, public health NGO, and cultural institution sectors, fostering multi-level partnerships.

She holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Virginia, where her research focused on race and nation-building in the Dominican Republic. Currently, she serves as the Head of Operational Research at the Fred Hollows Foundation, contributing to global equity research and project management. Dr. Perez's dedication to education and community engagement drives her commitment to the Global Education Immersion Foundation.
