Dr. Cathy Ping

Dr. Cathy Ping XIE, former Dean of Huiyan International College (HIC) at Beijing Normal University, previously worked at Peking University, focusing on school leadership and teacher professional development. Her research spans educational policy reform, international education, and school change, leading numerous projects commissioned by the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the State Council's Development Research Centre. Cathy has published extensively in China and the United States.

With nearly 20 years of teaching and leadership experience in Chinese K-12 state and private schools, she played a key role in founding a private school and served as deputy director of the International Curriculum Centre of RDFZ. Her expertise in principal leadership and teacher development is evident in school workshops and consultancy.

Cathy holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham, UK, and completed a Master of Public Administration program at Renmin University of China, specializing in human resource management.
